Ugh fleas again!!!!!
I feel like this is a never ending battle with these damn things!!!! I have sprayed the yard, vacume every other day, spray flea stuff in the house, wash the dog at least once a week and they are still here. I can't take it anymore.
Anything else I can do? Aren't they suppose to be over with by this time a year? Can the vet givens something or I just have to keep doing what I'm doing intill I don't see them anymore?

Honestly fleas are so resilient that what you are doing will not solve the problem. I use Frontline,as much as I HATE to use it on my dogs, b/c it absolutely prevents infestations.
And fleas are around almost 9 mths out of the year, only die when it freezes BUT can live in a home year round based on the temperature inside.

Where are you buying your frontline? I have read there are many reports of fake products out there, especially people who are buying the product off of the internet. I only buy my Frontline at my vet and even though I have seen fleas on mypets, I have never gotten an infestation.
And it needs to be Frontline PLUS.Also if your home was severely infested, it could take months to break the flea life cycle, for all the fleas to hatch and be killed once jumping on your pet.

Ugh fleas again!!!!!
It takes time to break the cycle. My dog got them and we vaccumed and used frontline and bathed. We are just now 2 months later not really seeign any. maybe one or two here or there but not any on the dog. I just kep cleaning and FIgure they will finally go away.

The last frontline I got at pet supplies plus. I haven't seen a lot but in the last week and a half I have taken 2 off of him.

Ugh fleas again!!!!!
I purchased an organic spray from Petco which worked almost immediately with no return of fleas so far! You can spray it on them year round and it has no harmful side effects. I refuse to use Frontline or any strong medications and this worked perfectly.

I was just thinking...you could have an infestation wherever he walks outside, in your yard, on walks, etc, and he may just be bringing in new fleas.

Re: Ugh fleas again!!!!!
My uncle had the same problem. I think by the time they realized their dog (that they had just bought) had fleas, they had already layed eggs that were all over the house. even though they were then treating the dog with frontline , they still had the problem. They had to have the house bombed.
The cat I just brought in had fleas and I read on the frontline website that flea eggs can hatch after 6 MONTHS. So I am keeping both of my cats on the frontline for at least 6 months. My dog gets it all year round.
Good luck.
Some other helpful tips I got -
Wash any bedding that he is on in hot water every few days vaccuum in between couch cushions where eggs could fall bathe him in Dawn dishwashing soap brush him with the flea brush and then drown the fleas in a bucket of water change your vaccuum bags because eggs will hatch in them and they will escape
Total PIA but maybe that will help instead of having to bomb your house HTH

Ugh fleas again!!!!!
Wash everythimg and while it is in the wash, bomb the house (you can buy the stuff at Home Depot or Petco/Petsmart). After it is safe to go back in your home vacuum everything and make sure you dump/clean the canister outside and keep a cut up flea collar inside the vacuum.
The vet can give your dog a pill that will definitely kill the fleas but it won't do anything if they're in your house as well.
HTH and GL!
