Adult Dance
Hi guys- i never post on this board but i know you guys are always helpful...
i danced (took dance at a dance studio) for all my life until about the age of 19 and competed and did the whole thing... i always have missed it but never really looked at getting back into it. after i give birth in december, id love to take an adult dance class once a week (not to compete or be in a recital but just for fun and fitness). can someone please recommend a class they know of. jazz or hip hop i guess or whatever...
im in lindenhurst so something fairly close but ill take recs anywhere if you dont know of anything close by

I know that the Y in Bay Shore offers adult dance classes, but I don't know how challenging they are. I have a hard time finding adult tap on LI, so I go to NYC for it. Also, there is a studio in West Babylon called the fit factory that offers a few dance classes along with fitness classes (yoga, kickboxing, etc).

i have and while its fun, im just really looking for dance classes that change routines up and dance styles and i can use my experience, etc.

The Equinox in Woodbury right off 135 has dance classes and I don't THINK you need to be a member.
