IUI this cycle
does this really increase your success rate? i'm nervous. my close friend said that IUI can cause miscarriages. Is that true? my Dr. wants me to try IUI this cycle. I'm on 100mg of Clomid and I'm really hoping this procedure will work. any advise would be appreciated.

I never heard of it causing miscarriages!?! My doctors said it doesn't increase your chances of getting pregnant, I think it does because they are putting in kind of where it needs to go. Good luck this cycle I will be praying for you!

IUI this cycle
IUI does not increase your chance of miscarriage that makes no sense at all.
IUI increases your odds of getting pregnant somewhere between 3-10% depending on many factors.
make sure your doctor is closely monitoring your cycle and ovulation so that the IUI is timed appropriately. good luck!

that's what i thought too. i'm still going to have the IUI. i can't live in the fear of having another miscarriage.

IUI this cycle
It depends bc of MF we were told as we were approaching IUI we should abstain for 2-3 days before in order to get best sperm and then BD after IUI that same night. Not sure what they tell you if there is no male factor.

yeah i heard 36 hours before your IUI is good and after. i have dr. appointment tomorrow morning. i'm going to ask them.
