We are trying to find a place in Suffolk to have Christmas Eve dinner. Anyone going anywhere?

Re: Anyone dining out Christmas eve?
Last year we went to Verace in Islip and it was really nice. It was the first time we ate out on Christmas Eve and we really enjoyed it. We are staying in this year but would've gone back if we chose to eat out.

We go out every year. We have been going to Sonoma grill for the past few years. We all have young children and it works for us/them.

We go out for Chinese food. The past few years we have gone to Peninsula Restaurant in Bay Shore.

We went to 21 Main one year when DH got out of work too late for us to do the drive to his family. It was a nice change of pace- less hectic yet it still had the Christmas feeling in the air.

If it is just the two of you, I recommend Barrique in Babylon Village. It's a "small plates" wine bar, where you order items that both of you can share. Delicious food! For a family, not sure, sorry.
