Reading List Help
So I'm trying to compile a list of titles that every girl should read (old and young). My plan is to read them to my daughter over the coming months so she has the opportunity to hear the stories, even if she will never read them for herself.
So far I have the following. It's fairly comprehensive but I don't want to suddenly remember one when it's too late. Anything glaringly omitted?
Are You There God, It's Me Margaret Franny and Zooey Little Women Charlotte's Web Pride and Prejudice Jane Eyre She's Come Undone To Kill a Mockingbird Winnie the Pooh The Tao of Pooh The Secret Garden The Little House on the Prairie Gone With the Wind

How about A tree Grows in Brooklyn? I read that over and over when I was a kid. Also Anne of Green Gables.

I second both of these.
If you want to branch out to poetry, I love Shel Silverstein.
