Okay, Paleo is amazing!
I've lost 6lbs over the past 7 days. 3 of those days have been true Paleo, the rest were gluten free.
Ive been experimenting. The 1st day I was straight Paleo (modified for pescatarian) and I lost 4 lbs! The next few days I added some gluten free products but gained 2lbs back. The past 2 days I've done just straight Paleo again and lost 2 lbs each day! I'm loving this!
I also noticed on days that I eat Paleo, my fat percentage of food is near 50% and carbs are near 30%. On days that my carb intake was around 60-75% I either gained or stayed the same. I'm going to experiment with increasing my calories even more but keeping my percentage of HEALTHY fats (avocados, etc) near 50% and see what happens!

That's awesome!! I've always been interested in Paleo but worry that I can't do it. What does a typical day look like for you food-wise?

Paleo is an amazing lifestyle. You'll lose weight and look and feel amazing.
Many people think it is too hard. It's the easiest plan to follow ever.
Eat natural foods. That's it. Nothing processed. If it has an ingredients list, it most likely isn't Paleo so avoid it. It's very easy and you can do it :)

Re: Okay, Paleo is amazing!
I agree! I had a waaaay harder time going gluten free than doing Paleo. Once you stop eating the grains and sugar, you don't miss it!
I'm still dealing with the detox symptoms and the "walking through oatmeal" legs, but I've lost soooo much bloat and actual LIKE the way I look from the side!
For breakfast I'll have either a green smoothie with protein powder or 2 eggs with half an avocado and a banana.
Lunch will be either a salad with (20+)grilled shrimp and olive oil and lots of veggies or if I'm running short on time I'll have a larabar (only the ones with paleo friendly ingredients).
I'll snack on veggies and 1 or 2 more fruits and nuts.
Dinner will be a big piece of salmon or other fish made with olive oil or coconut oil and a giant serving of fresh or sautéed vegetables.
