this is time time before you feel a baby... so how do you get through it, without fearing you have had another loss?

the only confirmations you get is from sonograms etc and they are monthly

I go weekly, this week I had a sono twice in one week. Monthly is HARD, gotta say. Do you have a history of loss? If so, I'd ask for perhaps every other week for now and just explain how nervous you are and you need the extra reassurance to calm your nerves. Good luck!!

DAY by DAY, MINUTE by MINUTE!

My last sono was my NT Scan on 12/27 and I am going INSANE! My next appointment isn't until the 24th at 16w. Then my next one is 4 weeks later for my Level II. I might ask my OB if I can come in at 18w just for reassurance. I'm feeling pregnant and getting fatter by the day, so I'd like to think that's a great sign... lol

GOOD LUCK! Chat Icon

I am 13 weeks today and I still worry daily what may be knowing how life can change in an instant. Honestly I have a fetal doppler that my BFF gave me when I was pregnant with DS and I listen to this LO's heartbeat every other day and have been since week 10. Hearing it beating away brings me peace.

i agree with this.....i've been weekly too and literally lose my mind some weeks with worry. if you have a history of loss, i'd ask the doctor if you can come more often. hang in there!

I am past 20 weeks and I dont know how I did it...I worried all the time and I still do...she does move but its not consistent so I use my doppler every once in a while...I take it weekly and in the beginning I was just a wreck
