I see the movie is coming out, has anyone read the book?

I've heard the first book is okay, but it gets better as the series goes on. I was on the fence, but after seeing the trailer I'm thinking I'll give it a try.

So, I just read the first one. It's okay. Enough that I finished it, but not really enough for me to want to pick up the second one. At least, not until I have nothing left on my reading list.

I just finished it, too. I liked it! I didn't LOVE it, but it was entertaining. I'm glad I read it before going to see it in the movies.

I just finished it, too. I liked it! I didn't LOVE it, but it was entertaining. I'm glad I read it before going to see it in the movies.
I finally finished it this past week - I really didn't like the story at all. It was so convoluted with all these side stories and characters that weren't really relevant. Not to mention I didn't really feel like she needed to whine about it so much lol she had a 50/50 chance either way.
But I did see the movie- I liked it a little better than the book just because it cut out a lot of useless story - but I still didn't love it.
I'm debating if I should read the second one or not.

Just read the second one. Not worth my time. I can't stand it when characters just pop out of the woodwork when they're needed. That drives me nuts. I hate convenience. Everything should be HARD. Will not be reading on.
