Work breaks
About how many breaks a day do you take including a lunch break?
Also how many hours do you work a day?

I'm with you. The minute I leave my desk the whole place becomes unhinged..well at least they think so..it ain't that serious.

8 hour work day, 1 hour lunch break.
I take a 5 minute break at 11-ish to get a cup of coffee, another one at 2:30 for another cup.
Pee breaks as needed, maybe 3 throughout the day.
According to the company handbook, I am supposed to take a 15 minute break in the morning and a 15 minute break in the afternoon. This I rarely do, unless I get sidelined while getting coffee.

About once or twice a week I will run out and buy lunch that I bring back and eat at my desk.
Normally, I bring lunch to work and eat at my desk.
On average I'm in the office anywhere from 7:45-8:30 and I leave on average at 5PM each day.

i work an 8 hour day. We get 45 minutes for lunch. No other 'formal' breaks but everyone runs next door for coffee a few times a day (though its for less than 5 min) so I don't know if you'd consider that a break. I don't. One girl takes cigarette breaks all day. I don't think that's fair but i keep those thoughts to myself amongst colleagues.

I work 8 hour shift with 30min break. Other than that I'm lucky if I can take a bathroom break. But I love my job.

I work 9-5, thursdays and fridays, and take no break. I work through lunch. The extra two hours a week in my paycheck is worth it to me.

8 hours with 1 hour for lunch. i usually eat lunch at my desk, and go for a walk during my break. sometimes if its busy i wont take a lunch break.
