My favorite is just a simple marinara sauce with broiled sausages over linguine.

My second favorite is sausague with brocolli rate...pine nuts...raisins...hot pepper....

My quick, go to comfort food is rigatoni with ricotta mixed with some of the pasta water to make it a soupy consistency. Little salt and pepper and I am in heaven!

Before DD when I had more time to cook, spaghetti and meatballs was the favorite!

I do a lot of pasta with homemade meat sauce or with sausage, mozzarella, and peas because it easier and lasts a few meals for DH and I.

I tried a recipe from pinterest recently that was just frozen ravioli layered with sauce and cheese and baked in the oven. It turned out really yummy and could not be easier!

- pasta (or noodles) with butter and grated cheese

and my all time favorite comfort food
- pastina cooked in broth with butter and cheese.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE homemade mancotti. My MIL makes this the best!!!

I also love to make baked ziti, raviolis

My dad use to take a london broil cook it and then leave it for the next day.

On the d-Day he would mince garlic, put oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Wrap it up and tie it and let it cook in the sauce all day. I swear that was my favorite meal!

-with chickpeas, garlic and romano cheese

-with broccoli, evoo, garlic & romano cheese

- baked ziti with meatsauce/ricotta

-pastichio

or cooked al dente with lots of butter, grated cheese and a little pasta water. So bad but so good.

I love pasta with sauce and ricotta, penne alla vodka with marinated grilled chicken, rigatoni with broccoli/garlic/oil and a truly AUTHENTIC carbonara.

I been really into making homemade ravioli. I got an awesome pasta roller, and it's so easy. So far I've made:

-regular plain (ricotta) with regular tomato sauce
-pumpkin, served with a butter sage sauce
-mushroom mascarpone with a butter white wine sauce
-shrimp and mushroom with a mushroom cream sauce
-beet and goat cheese filled, forgot the sauce I made with that one
-beet dough with a goat cheese filling with a walnut cream sauce

So I guess my favourite is any kind of ravioli

For unhealthy treats/ splurges:
- Mac and cheese ( all time favorite ! )
- Baked Ziti
- Penne ala vodka
- 3 cheese spinach tortellini


for healthier eating:
100 %whole wheat penne or fusili tossed with an assortment of roasted veggies with lots of sauteed garlic and some olive oil.

Thin spaghetti with olive oil, garlic, pepper and parmesan cheese.

Bow tie pasta, sundried tomatoes, spicy sausage, mushrooms, spinach in white wine cream sauce.

what's your favorite pasta dish to cook

Whole wheat penne, bulk sausage, spinach and diced tomatoes.

Pasta with white wine, garlic, broc and chicken.

This is more of egg noodle then pasta but brown ground turkey with italian dressing, mixed bell peppers, onion, green olives and egg noodles.
