OMG how do you do it ??
Run errands????
Its soo much work getting them in the seats, into the car, into and out of the strollers...Nevermind doors!
I had to return something at the Gap yesterday and took the girls. They were pretty good with their pacis...just looked around. It was really such a quick trip that I had to make something more of it and get myself an Aunt Annies pretzle lol But the lugging is insane! I can't wait til they are in regular strollers.

Just wait until they are toddlers.
Infants are easy!
Seriously though, you just have to do it as often as possible. Drag them everywhere so you get used to it!

I know! At least they are contained now! I know Im in for it once they are mobile. I'm going to be a shut in!
ETA Im taking them to the ped by myself tomorrow. Eek!
My mom wanted me to come to dinner last night (DH was working) and the thought of breaking down the pnp, luggig that too and setting it up there made me cringe.

pick up an extra pack and play, one of the larger square ones. I have this in my garage ready to go at all times.
and I have found that when going to the ped by myself the nurses feel sorry for me and help out a lot

OMG how do you do it ??
It's not easy, but everything is a trade off. Now my girls can climb up into my truck (with me spotting them) but they don't want to sit in the stroller. I was just starting to get my groove on and then they figured out how to wiggle out of the harnesses and climbing out of the stroller.
It is really hard going from none to two. I still mostly will only go out with other people. Everything is such a project, it could take me 2-3 hours to run the simplest errand.

I agree!!!
but the more you do it the more you and the babies will get used to it!
If you see your mom often at her house I would consider picking up some items second hand to just keep there if she has the room. My parents watch the kids so they have everything at their house it makes it so much easier.
Don't stress about the ped...it will be fine! I always take them myself and probably will take all 3 alone when this baby comes.

you get used to it! i may be in the minority but i feel its easier now that theyre toddlers. Theres really nothing i have to bring for them anymore, we can just get up and go. They do run around but i can usually bribe them at the store.

I always plan what stores I need to hit by what mall I go to. This way you don't take them out for just one store. All the malls have Auntie Annes..lol. If you need old Navy & Targer, go to broadway mall/hicksville; If you want Walmart & play area... Sunrise which also has an AWESOME children's area. Roosevelt field good to just walk around but no kiddie area

There are NO Gaps around anymore. Walt whitman closed. I went last week alone (thank God) and it was boarded up. So I had to go for one store. I knew it was past the return time but I wanted to return it while it was still full price on the site. Then of course I used the credit online

So going to the ped alone..no bueno!! 2 screaming babies just from being checked by the dr followed by ear piercing and it being almost feeding time because they had me waiting too long. Thank God I bought bottles. I wasn't going to because I thought I'd be home in time. I made the next apt when DH is home eventhough its with a different Dr.

With Twins, it definitely gets easier as they get older. You don't have to take much for them. I can take my 2YO twins out alone with no problem. They don't always want to sit in the storller but i get them in there and that's where they stay. I usually will do quick trips with them though. I never brought the twins and the baby out togehter alone, i always have DH or a friend with me. I always push the twins in the stroller and have the baby in the harness. The looks I get are priceless You just have to be organized. Figure our where you want to go, what you need ahead of time. Get in and get out. bring things to keep them occupied. Are you using a snap n go? I found with the double snap n go, although i hated navigating that thing, it was so easy to go out with the twins alone. I used the under carraige as my shopping cart since there was so much space.
ETA: I took them to the ped alone once, and refuse to ever do it again
