Physical therapy for dogs
Has anyone ever done this? My cockapoo's back legs are very weak, and the vet suggested PT for him. I'd love some feedback if anyone is familiar with the process. How much does it cost, what do they do, did it help? Any recommendations of where to go?
Any info is much appreciated.
thanks!

Check the place on Route 110 in farmindale next to adventureland--they do therapy there or check a vet. hospital that does special surgeries

Re: Physical therapy for dogs
We had to take coco to the emergency vet because her tarsal join seemed to have dislocated but they weren't sure because of course the xrays didn't show anything. They were going to refer us to a place out west but told us to see our vet first.
We took her to our vet the next day. When they took her cast, it seemed like they put magic cast on and she walking fine with no problems.
Long story short, our vet told us they had a physical therapist who would work with out dog onsite. she did not need therapy.
I am not sure where you are located but it's Paumanok Vet on route 112 in Patchogue.
