What does everyone eat for breakfast?
I have been having a green smoothie almost every morning except on Saturdays when my DH makes Oatmeal banana pancakes. Some days I just feel like having something other then a Smoothie. I don't want to eat cereal or a english muffins. I'm trying to stay away from processed foods. Oatmeal makes me gag, so that is out.
Any recipes would be great!!

Re: What does everyone eat for breakfast?
Do you like eggs? I eat eggs a lot for breakfast. It's also a good way to get more veggies in. You can make a frittata/baked egg dish in advance, and throw in some veggies. Then just reheat in the microwave each morning. Baked eggs freeze really well, so I sometimes just freeze individual pieces and heat it up from frozen. You could make them in individual portions in muffin tins, too.
I know a friend who makes a batch of hard boiled eggs for the week, so that is another option. You could eat a hard boiled egg, with some cheese and a piece of fruit. Or sometimes I make an egg in the microwave by cracking it into a cup, cooking it, and then I put it on an English muffin or toast, but you could also eat it by itself.
What about yogurt, maybe with fruit? I just saw a peanut butter and jelly greek yogurt idea on Skinny Taste that looked good. Or you could do the same type of thing with ricotta or cottage cheese.
I know you said you don't like oatmeal, but I've been making baked oatmeal from Skinny Taste -- there's a banana and blueberry baked oatmeal recipe that tastes just like banana bread, and it's made with all natural ingredients. So maybe if it's a texture thing that makes you dislike oatmeal, this would be worth a shot.
What about making whole grain waffles or pancakes on the weekend, or even muffins, and then freezing for during the week? Then you can reheat in the microwave for a grab and go option that is not prepackaged/processed.

Re: What does everyone eat for breakfast?
I normally eat 2 eggs scrambled with 1/2 an ounce of goat cheese, a slice of whole grain bread, and an apple. It's just under 400 calories.

Re: What does everyone eat for breakfast?
I've started making some vegan banana muffins that are really good. I make a dozen and freeze them & they are good to go when I want one.

Re: What does everyone eat for breakfast?
Ezkiel sprouted grain cereal with chopped up banana or berries Egg white omelette ( I can't stand the taste of yolks ) Warmed quinoa with milk and toppings ( goes well with bananas, nuts and a little bit of honey) Oatmeal and milk with a variety of toppings ( berries, banana, coconut butter, goji berries and more depending the day ) Greek yogurt ( Stonyfield oikos is my fave brand) with fruit and a drizzle of raw honey. Homegrade granola bars And I am going to make these muffins this week:http://taliafuhrman.com/get-your-glow-on-superfood-muffins/ ETA: Here is another recipe I want to try. It is like a Chia seed porridge. http://www.commonsensehome.com/chia-blueberry-porridge/

Re: What does everyone eat for breakfast?
I have two of these:
With 1 to 2 tablespoons of low fat peanut butter on each, a small fruit like a fuji apple or 1 cup of honeydew melon, and green tea.
I like having the salty / crunchy / sweet combination in the morning. I also have a mid-morning snack since this is not a lot of food, to keep my appetite and metabolism in check until lunch.

What does everyone eat for breakfast?
During the week I have 2 hard boiled eggs (I don't eat the yokes) and an orange. Then I have a snack a few hrs later, usually Greek yogurt and some carrots. On the weekend I have poached eggs with steamed spinach and fruit or I make an omlette with lowfat cheese and a mix of veggies. HTH

Re: What does everyone eat for breakfast?
I just a nutribullet about 2 weeks ago, so I usually have a large blast (smoothie) for breakfast. I have started also during work days to eat also 2 egg whites, so I get some additional protein. I find that these blasts keep me leveled, I don't feel deprived or have dips in energy. On the contrary, I feel good.
