Cape Cod in October?
DH and I were thinking about going for a weekend next month for our anniversary. Neither of us has ever been. Will it be a ghost town?

It will definitely be less crowded, but there are a lot of people who live there year round. Have fun. I love Cape Cod.

Re: Cape Cod in October?
My cousin lives up there in the Summer. I know she goes there off-season to check on the house every few weekends, & she makes it sound like it's a ghost town, but that might just be HER location (she's near Hyannis). I'd look into it if I were you, I know a lot of restaurants close once the season is over. Hey, it might be fun having the Cape to yourselves!

We went off season and yes, it did seem like a ghost town. And most restaurants closed early. But, we loved it!

That's what I was thinking- I am not a fan of crowds! But if we can't get a bite to eat anywhere that would be the pits!

We went in mid-October last year for our anniversary. Of course we didn't lay on the beach but there was plenty to do for a short weekend. We had an awesome time!
