Arrangement of pictures in living room?

Does anyone know where I can see ideas for arrangements of pictures over a living room couch?
We have been in our house for 3 years and still 90 % of the walls are bare! I want a plan so it doesn't look random.

try looking online at pinterest, furniture decorating sites, pottery barn etc
i think some sites like Lowes even have little tutorials on how to make random picture arrangements on your walls

one idea is to gather up any pictures you have that you might want to put up there and make paper templates of each frame. Tape them to the walls in different patterns to get an idea of what you like. You can get all different frames that compliment each other but aren't the same easily at HomeGoods/Michaels/Kohls etc

a little searching online will find you a ton of ideas!
