Triplet mom looking for toning recs
Hi there, I was a long time user a while back and am back with a new name. I had triplets last June and have managed to lose 90 lbs since delivery day with diet alone (starting with ww, then switched to Atkins and have since evolved to paleo for last three months which I love and has been so easy and satisfying! i have truly never felt better). 75lbs was pregnancy weight and 15 was weight I always had to lose. My bmi is now 20 and I am thrilled. In the past I had alway found that weight loss is 90 percent diet and that has held true this time! However it is time to start exercising and I hate the gym. I was wondering what helped to seriously tone you other post partem gym averse mamas and was looking for specific recs in the bayside/western Nassau area. I need a class bc I need accountability - I am not motivated enough for DVDs! I am torn between mma, Pilates, bikrim yoga, crossfit, boot camp and a personal trainer. I have some serious flab to get rid of! Any advice and recs in my area? Tia!!!

Congratulations on the triplets and losing the weight! I would try Pilates,, yoga, and strength training. Sometimes groupon has great deals on yoga and pilates classes. GL!

Re: Triplet mom looking for toning recs
I love Bikram and have really toned up when I watched my diet and went consistently.
It's hard though because it's such a time commitment.
90 minute class, not including the time to drive there, get there a little early for a spot and sometimes class runs over.
A lot of places offer evening and early morning classes though.
It's worth it to just check them out for their new student special. Where I go (not in your area), it's $20 for 10 consecutive days of unlimited classes.

Thanks ladies! Great idea to look for groupon/specials - it's all so expensive! Thanks again.

I forgot about living social. They have deals also but not as many as groupon.
