I need to brag..just a little
So lately I have been feeling blah about myself. I keep going to the gym and I take a lot of strength training classes but it seems I reached a platue and I know I need to be weight training to get to my goal. I also noticed that the scale went up 2 lbs and which is probably water weight.
Now, today dh and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary and I was going to punish myself with trying on my dress. The last time I did this was probably 8 years ago and I couldn't get it zipped up. I looked like a stuffed sausage.I was between 128 & 130 lbs, 9 years ago. I thought I looked great. My DD thought it was funny that I was trying it on and to my shock it fit!! I was so excited and I felt like I just lost those 10lbs.  . For the record as of this morning I weighted in at 140lbs.
So for everyone who it addicted to the scale (like myself), get off and get a measuring tape. I do measure myself and I have lost a few inches all over and that matters most.
