Can I just Brag a little??
Well, Christopher has been starting early intervention and he LOVES the one therapist he works with, in fact he goes into the front room (where he works with her) and says "mmmmm"...she is working on more. Which he is starting to sign now, and he said "ma". I know it is not much to many of you, but this is coming from a child who says NOTHING.
He will be getting OT soon.
I can only imagine what one week a dirrenecs has made, can you imagine months from now. My poor little guy is so exhausted.
Just had to share my story

Brag away all you'd like, I think it's WONDERFUL!!!!
As you know I'm in the same boat...and hearing parts of words emerge and lights go off is very exciting. The little things these days mean the world to me.
Congrats to him!!! I'm sure you'll love what you see as the months go on....you are doing such an incredible parenting job..it isn't easy, and at times it feels overwhelming but those little moments mean the world!!

As a speech therapist who recently started doing home visits for early intervention I KNOW how exciting it is. In fact I actually CLAPPED my hands and said, "YAY" when I read your post.

thats great!! Ryan signs more all the time and we learned that from EI. They are great and see progress only after 1 month with EI. Good for Christopher!!
