Making corn on the cob on the grill tonight...do you guys soak them before you cook??

My father always did ... in Salted Water. DH doesn't. I like it both ways.

We've done it both ways, but prefer it non-soaked. We just shuck and grill the ears and baste them with a mixture of butter, salt & cracked black pepper.

I usually soak them, but cook it in the husk, so I do it to prevent the husk from burning.
I typically open them up, remove the silk stuff, put some oil and herbs/spices on and then put the husk back up and grill it like that.
