Can you do that? I always thought popcorn was a special kind of corn that was "bred" if you will to hold small amounts of water even when dried so that once it hit the heat the steam caused it to explode and make popcorn...
I'm not convinced.
Go on, convince me.

Yes, popping corn is a diffrent type of corn than the usua corn you eat or the feed corn they give to animals.
I didn't know you could "pop" rice like that... I wonder how they do that, by adding water I think???

I would think you need some sort of liquid to make it pop. I have heard that you can make a homemade heating pad using rice. When you heat it in the microwave.....it doesn't pop
