air purifier for allergies?
So I have been having some moderate allergies the last couple of months. I went to the allergist and he tells me I have ragweed and dust mite allergies. I also have several pets and although I was cleared for assorted pet danders I think that I might be allergic to my chinchilla or her food.
So I want to try an air purifier. I have been researching several different types and brands in the $150-$300 range. I am fairly familiar with all the different types and CADR ratings stuff but I am curious to know for those of you with seasonal and pet allergies, do you think your air purifier helps you?
I obviously want a good hepa filter and one that does odor control and I like the idea of a UV for viruses and bacteria. I don't need an ionizer.
so... if you have an air purifier does it help you and do you love it?
