Girlfriends Dinner on Nassau/Suffolk Border
My girlfriend and I have not seen each other in a year! Crazy Mommy schedules! Please recommmend a delicious restaurant, where we can sit, chat, and enjoy great food and drinks. I'm coming from S. Shore Nassau and she's from S. Shore Suffolk, so something on the border maybe? All ideas welcome.....TIA!

Melting Pot is right on the border and so much fun for a girls night out.
It's $$, but delicious and a nice long dinner so you can really talk.

My friends and I recently were looking in the same area and ended up at Four. It was very nice and the food was great.

ITA. Check their webpage b/c sometimes they have specials that are like $35 for 4 courses per person.
And if you go and have dinner and choose the bourguignon as your cooking style, I HIGHLY recommend battering broccoli in the sesame batter, cooking until golden brown and then eat w/ the green goddess dip. It's one of my favorite things about the meal!

Girlfriends Dinner on Nassau/Suffolk Border
We have girls in Suffolk and Nassau and usually find that stuff on 110 works for all of us - we do Chili's a lot.

Eh, I'm over the Melting Pot. There's way better stuff out there IMHO.
What about Salumi in Massapequa?
My suggestion though is to not start out with a lot of food though. DH and I go and our eyes are always bigger than our bellies.

I agree, plus Melting Pot is not south shore, it's in the middle of the island.
Salumi, The Phoenix in Seaford, McCann's for bar food, Snaps in Wantagh, Thom Thom, those are all near the Nassau/Suffolk border

Same here. Chilis is usually our pick for girls nights out.
