Awesome dinner- Salumi in Massapequa

Went there tonight and OMG we were in love. Drank some yummy prosecco and started with a cheese/meat board with manchego, a brie type of cheese and a dried smoked salami with bread. Small portions buy delicious. We then went on to have:

-warm olives

-an insanely delicious pannini made of sweet sopressata, italian cheeses, sun-dried tomatoes

-watermelon/beet goat cheese creme salad

- sliced roasted potatoes with spicy red sauce and cumin aioli

- lamb meatballs the only thing we didn't absolutely love)

Such a fun and delicious dinner. Highly recommended.

Def go! Small portions but you can def fill up with all the delicious choices. We had to order a second panini after we had the first because it was so good!

This sounds really good!

But I'm a tapas virgin, could someone explain to me how it works? Chat Icon Chat Icon

Do you order everything at once, or one at a time, or ? If you order all of it at once do they bring it over all at one time or do they stagger it in some random order they determine?

Is it OK to add on more later? I dont know how much we should get.

Does the bread come with the dinner? I see it listed on the menu too.

We started out with a drink and a cheese meat board. Once we got it, we ordered all of our tapas. They brought them out as they were ready but you def have a good variety on the table at once. You can certainly order more as you go. That's exactly what we did with the pannini. Once we had it we needed more lol. Only a few slices of bread came with the meat/cheese board. If you want more you need to order the bread basket. It's more of the same bread (it's made there and the only kind they have. It's a chewy and crusty bread.

Thank you for the info.

How many tapas did you order and how many people were in your party?

I listed the ones we ordered above. Altogether it was a board with 3 meats/cheeses and 6 tapas plates. There were 3 of us and no food left.

Thank you. I don't want to be a piggie and order to much, but then again I don't want to not order enough, DH leaves hungry and has a bad experience with Tapas. As it is, I think convincing him to go someplace where he isn't going to get an entree is going to be challenging.

Thanks again. Chat Icon

Right! Do you have any favorite tapas dishes or meats/cheeses you'd recommend. Can't wait to try some others!
