Strange Ovulation

Hi Girls,

So this is our 3rd month TTC after 2 m/c's and now I'm on Crinone every cycle after I ovulate.

This past Fri. I got my smiley face on the OPK. I had the strongest O symptoms I've had yet. And lots of CM. Then Sat. night I had an intense pinching feeling on my left side, only for a few seconds. I thought this may be the egg bursting through and I was glad I was feeling this, as I never had before.

Sunday morning, no rise in temp. Monday morning, no rise in temp. Keep in mind I got the positive OPK on Friday morning. Finally this morning (Tues) I had a temp rise, but I'm also on the Crinone b/c I started taking that 2 days after the OPK as its directed. But I don't think the Crinone really raises my temperature.

I read that an ovulation days after the positive OPK may be caused by the egg taking longer to fertilize, or just the temps responding slower to O and not showing up after a few days.

Do any girls have experience with this?

Did you keep testing with the OPK? I would sometimes get the smiley for a few days. I always try to go by my temperature rise because I feel it's the most reliable. Are you sure your temperatures are accurate? If you wake up in the middle of the night, take it at different times, etc it can affect the temperature you see.

No I stopped testing after the smiley, and my CM was pretty much gone the following day. As for taking temps, I usually get up in the middle of the night to pee and my temps are taken roughly around the same time as I'm not working this summer.
