Would you go to the doctor or wait it out a few days...update at bottom
If you have an on an off slightly wet cough and slight wheezing but feel ok just very tired but you have 101.6 would you rest a few days and see if you improve or go right to the dr. No runny nose, no other symptoms.

It is up to 102.6 now but am due for meds. Thing is my chest isn't as bad as I would expect when I had had it bwfore. Just hate to get worse but afraid they will say wait a bit and make sure it isn't viral...then I am down 2copays if it isn't

That to me means there is somethign going on- infection wise.

See last time I went was told I had to give it a few days bc it usually is a virus. They wouldn't give meds when I have been like this until day 4.
The issue for me is that I can usually tell if I feel like a virus or bacterial. I am not sure th his time. My fever is high butI don't feel as sick as I have other times.
Today my fever goes down with tylenol but goes up when it wears off. Cough starts when meds wear off but not bad when medicine is working.
Dh I saying go tomorrow if I still have a fever. Of vourse he would bc he gave it to me. He hss haf a cough for a week but no other symptoms. He insisted it was allergies Imissed my girls last week of vacation and all the fun things I had planned

Go to the doctor. Fever, wet cough and wheezing could be bronchitis, or even pneumonia.

I am going today bc now my sinuses are bothering me. Dh still refuses go go with a cough for 2+ weeks.

So the dr thinks it is pneumonia but since she would treat me with the same meds I don't have to get the xray. See I used to get brochitis a lot when I was little I can usually tell but apparently I have as lot of fluid and wheezing. Just stinks. Can't believe I have this in the summer.

 I'm sorry you are going through that. I had pneumonia directly followed by the worst sinus infection in the same summer. It sucked!!!!

See I am starting to have sinus issues today. Mom just gave me a recent article from the wall street journal that says summer colds and viruses are worse than winter ones. I am surprised bc I though bronchitis viral not pneumonia.
