chili left out?
my dh told me he was putting the chili away last night and then forgot. so it was left in the dutch oven with the lid closed. is it bad? should i throw it out? would you keep it?

I would probably throw it out. I'm usually a "keep it, it will be fine person", but overnight is pushing it.

Gotta get thrown out. Dutch oven with the lid closed means nothing, it's not refrigerated. That is sure food poisioning right there, being left at room temperature for hours and hours.

I wouldn't chance it, if it was overnight.
I could totally see a man saying it's ok....especially if it's 5alarm spicy.
