I'm going to go a (little bit) outside of the box
1) good underwear, b/c no one wants to see your lines beneath those pants that are just a little bit too tight
2) Awesome sunglasses. B/c you have to protect your eyes and look good doing it, and they're part of your outfit almost every day. At least they are if you have blue eyes like me and the sun is the devil!
3) A good wool knee length coat in a neutral like Camel that goes with blacks AND browns.
4) Diamond (or cz) studs in a non-absurd size. Classic.
5) A classic neutral leather tote - my pick is always camel b/c of its dual neutrality, but black works too.

1. A pair of red flats. ( inspired from a post on here today) I wear my red flats with EVERYTHING
2. A set of pearls- I break them up or wear them together. I feel like they are always classic
3. One nice watch. I love my michele watch and love the fact that I can change out the bands, I wear it daily
4. I really nice pair of dark jeans. I like being able to dress them up or down
5. A pencil skirt

At least one business suit/jacket for an interview at a moment's notice.
I hadn't been on an interview since before I had DS, and gained weight so the jacket didn't fit right. When I got called in for one back in the spring, I had to scamper around last minute and borrow one from SIL.
