Since this is the FASHION board
I feel like this is a place that people should not judge other people for what they want to spend there money on
it could be $250 pair a jeans
or a $25 pair of jeans
Fashion is a personal thing- and while the people who spend $250 on a pair of jeans never make judgements on the people who spend $25- the people who spend $25 - seem to spend alot of time making judgements
Fashion has nothing to do with price- everyone has there own style and way of expressing themselves

I completely agree! I live for bargains - it makes shopping so much fun!!  I had the best feeling when I recently bought a beautiful chocolate brown Tahari suit that retailed for $600, for only $120!!!

If someone wants to spend $300 on a jeans or $30 on jeans I mean seriously who cares. I could care less how anyone spends their money it is not my money neither are they shaking a cup at my door step so I don't give a rat azz.

You are entitled to your opinion. I disagree that the "people who spend $250 on a pair of jeans NEVER make judgements..." etc.
I've seen plenty of judgements passed by those people on here. Maybe they are not as direct all the time, but they are certainly there.
I also think that what some people feel is "spending alot of time making judgements" is sometimes just people expressing their opinions which the easily offended immediately get defensive about.
BUT, with all that said, I DO agree that we should not be judging other people for what they spend. But the people who feel "judged", should also chill out when someone is of the opinion that they would not spend that much money on the same thing - it's a valid opinion and does not have to be taken as an insult or a judgement.

WHAT?!!
You know how many posts I have seen talking about how "cheap" payless shoes are and that "I would never walk around with a bag that came from Target" I have seen on here.
I agree that the some opinions on here may offend some people, but that statement is just ridiculous!

In general, I think fashion (and how much it costs) is all relative. I'm sure those people who post that they would NEVER carry a bag from Target (I mean God forbid, right  ) wouldn't even know the difference.
I think people who bash (might be a harsh term, but in some cases, lets just call it what it is) people for spending $250 on a pair of jean might not think that $250 to one person is like $25 to another.
In then end, this is just a board to talk about fashion and share fashion trends, cheap or exorbitantly (is that a word   ) priced.
Now, let's talk about goucho capris... in or out for this spring??

I haven't seen posts that were crazy judgemental.
I have seen posts from some people who need to remind us over and over again that they wear $300 jeans, designer bags and high end watches. I haven't seen them explicitly comment about people who spend less, though.
I have NOT seen people who buy inexpensive clothing make disparaging remarks toward people who spend more but I have seen them ask how people can afford it.

the only post I have seen that was blatant judgment was by someone who no longer posts here. she dedicated an entire thread to why she thinks Payless shoes stink and insinuated that you would be crazy to shop there.

Why is so freaking important how much people pays for their clothing? Why should anyone care whether it is freaking $300 jeans or $30 jeans. I mean to each his own. If someone wants to spend lavishly then more power to them and if someone else choose to spend wisely then more power to them also. No one needs to justify their spending habits to anyone.

All I know is I'm wearing my fake Rock and Republic jeans today to work, and my hiney looks very cute! HA HA! I don't care who spends what on what, and if you put yourself out there to ask "yay" or "nay" it's no one's fault if you can't handle the answer you were given. I dislike some things posted on here and I say so. And vice versa. Hell, I love my fake uggs, too. Whatever!

do I think it's crazy for YOU to spend $200...I couldn't give a rats azz....
sometimes the post is a PERSONAL opinion, about oneself...for every "wow, I would never" there is a "wow, I can't wait"
maybe EVERYONE should stop being so sensitive...whether you're spending the money or NOT spending the money....just enjoy the clothes.
it's all leather, cotton, rayon,spandex, canvas, polyester ( ), silk, satin, laces, ribbons, and bows in the end.....
