good series
I need a new really good series, i prefer historical fiction but it can be ably kind of fiction. i have recently read these series
The tea rose
bronze horseman
fall of giants
and i am looking for something similar to them. Love in times of war kinds stuff. any reccomendations.

I'm not familiar with any of the books you listed, but I must recommend the Game of Thrones series. Though it is fantasy, it is very similar to The Tudors and was actually based loosely on The War of the Roses. It has war, politics, romance, and some magic too.

I've heard good things about The Selection series by Kiera Cass. I haven't read them yet, but the first book is on my Nook.
I love Game of Thrones, too, but it's much more fantasy and magic than historical romance. But a GREAT read either way.

Try the Kent Family Chronicles by John Jakes. There are 8 books:
The ******* ? The Rebels ? The Seekers
The Furies ? The Titans ? The Warriors
The Lawless ? The Americans
The Kent Family Chronicles basically start in London right before the Revolutionary War and goes through to post-civil war America.
He also wrote the North and South Trilogy:
North and South ? Love and War
Heaven and Hell (which as the name implies, concentrates on the civil war and reconstruction).

The Winds of War (spans from Europe starting in 1939 and leads up to Pearl Harbor) and
War and Remembrance by Herman Wouk (from Pearl Harbor to the end of the war).

Have you read Outlander? If not, DO.
I got a free ebook called "A Sentence of Marriage" ( I know, what a title  ) and to my surprise, it was AWESOME. It was historical fiction, and takes place in rural New Zealand during the Victorian era. At times it was a little like, "OMG, what else can possibly happen to this poor girl?!?!" but the characters were excellent, and the story and plotting were amazing. The other books in the series are like $2 a piece and the first one is free. I'm talking these books up to everyone I know because they were so good!!

I have read like 100 pages of outlander and could not get into it for anything, everybody loves them and i think it is so boring. i will look into the other one.

I thought it sucked until about 200 pages in... now it is my favorite series of all time. If your favorite books are the Tea Rose series and the Bronze Horseman, you should definitely give Outlander another try.

Have you tried books by Ken Follett? Pillars of the Earth and the sequel World Without End. Plus he is in the middle of a trilogy.
