Making homemade pizza tonight
Any advice? Have never done it before. I was going to buy the pillsbury pizza dough. Ideas? Advice? Thanks in advance!

I've never had the pillsbury one. I either get dough from a pizzeria or sometimes in supermarkets by the cheese they have balls of dough.

The pillsbury dough is very hard to work with IMO. YOu can get dough from a pizza shop or in the supermarket dairy aisle I think. I used to be REALLY ambitious and make my own in the bread machine- it had a pizza dough setting that took an hour- but those days are LONG gone!

I've used the pillsbury dough plenty of times. I find it easy to work with, just be sure to grease the pan so it doesn't stick. For some reason I have terrible luck with homemade dough and the bagged ones from the supermarket. IMO pillsbury is the easiest even if it's not anywhere near authentic.

I love pizza on the grill! Stretch it out, OO on both sides, then grill each side briefly and then put the toppings on and let it cook another minute.
If you are baking in the oven, just make sure it is REALLY hot, and use plenty of cornmeal under the dough so it doesn't stick.
