I don't get it. Why is adding cold cheese on your pizza so good? I think I might be missing something. I love cheese so whether is cold or melted is find by me!

Much better than you would imagine b.c you have the hot pizza melting the mounds of cold cheese, so it has a texture that is very different and man does it taste good!

I know it was big in college upstate...that's how I remembered it from a stint I did up there.

I usually dip my crust in blue cheese dressing.
I almost asked for them to add the cold cheese the other night when I got a slice at our local place, but the slices were not that good to begin with so I decided to just pass.
I don't think the slice I got was from a fresh pie. That's probably another thread though!

Ahhhh college memories. I thought this was just an upstate thing. That and dipping pizza in blue cheese dressing. Yum - my inner fat kid wants to eat some right now lol
