UGH I just ate a buffalo chicken slice of pizza w/o realizing it had bleu cheese in it
So lately nothing appeals to me well for some reason DH's slice of pizza (which i neverusually eat) was VERY appealing tome and i proceeded to eat it all. He comes downstairs and said why did you eat that? The doctor said NO BLEU CHEESE and he said it was all over the pizza (underneath the regular cheese) i never have this so i had no idea.UGH.

It should be ok since it was heated up, right?

if it was made in the US, it was probably pasteurized anyway, but even if it wasn't, since it was heated, i think you're fine.

Like PP said it is fine. Cheese you get in restaurants and almost ALL stores in the US are pasteurized, and in addition to that it was heated. You have nothing to worry about.

Don't worry about it - two things - one - it was cooked if it was on the pizza and secondly the blue cheese here is mostly pasturized. My OB said blue cheese was generally okay b.c it is pasturized and especially fine if it was cooked.

It is fine, it's heated up. My eyes widened when i saw a thread on buffalo pizza as I had a slice for lunch and am totally paying for it right now! Never again!!!

I agree, it was heated so it should be ok.
I ate a chicken sandwich today - grilled chicken breast from a caterer at work - it was cold, completely spaced on heating it up.....

As long as the chicken was cooked [not raw] then it doesn't matter that it was cold. Cold cuts are what need to be avoided or heated up a bit to kill any lingering bacteria.
