Re: MEATBALLS
I use the chopmeat combo of veal, pork, and ground beef (about 1 1/2 lbs), a handful of bread crumbs, handful of grated cheese, splash of milk, 1 egg, about 2 or 3 shakes of garlic powder, and some pepper. Combine everything together and roll into meatball sized balls. Arrange on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.

I do something very similar with ingredients (had to eliminate garlic since I moved in with my parents - dont like garlic lol) - but I just put them in the sauce - I dont bake them first!

Re: MEATBALLS
I love Ina Garten's recipe. Instead of the meatloaf mix, I use just ground beef and sometimes throw in the meat from a few sausage links.

Re: MEATBALLS
Meatballs 2 slices white bread (crusts discarded), torn into small cubes 1/2 cup buttermilk or 6 tablespoons plain yogurt thinned with 2 tablespoons sweet milk 3/4 pound ground beef ( or 1 pound if omitting ground pork below) 1/4 pound ground pork (to be mixed with ground chuck) 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves 1 large egg yolk 1 small clove garlic , minced (1 teaspoon) 3/4 teaspoon salt Ground black pepper Vegetable oil for pan-frying America's test kitchen Spaghetti and meatballs
Then we cook like their recipe for a crowd:
FOR THE MEATBALLS: Place wire racks in 2 foil-lined rimmed baking sheets, spray with pam. Adjust oven racks to lower-middle and upper-middle positions and heat oven to 450 degrees. Combine bread and buttermilk in large bowl and let sit, mashing occasionally with fork, until smooth paste forms, about 10 minutes. Place meatballs on rack and bake for about 30 mins. It says to rotate the pan but never do.
