Feeling like you need a lot of eye make up?
I try to go more natural on weekends but I feel like I look sooooo young and weird without eyeshadow and liner. I never forgo mascara.. But I still think I look odd. I have light features too and light colored eyes. Does anyone feel this way? I see other women not use eye makeup and they look great but somehow I look 12.

I don't think I look 12 anymore (I'm 35 now) but I do think I look plain and exhausted. But, I try and give my face the weekend off from makeup anyway.

me! at the very least I need upper and lower eyeliner and mascara. without it, I look extremely young and tired.

I wonder if it's all in my head 
I feel like I look completely different without make up. I think my landscaper threw me off. He usually sees me barefaced in early mornings when he comes. One day recently he came when I was leaving for work and said "wow. You look different!"

I think it's what you are used to.
If you are used to seeing yourself with a lot of eye makeup on you will look very "blank" to yourelf without it.
I only wear eyeliner and mascara-never shadows. But yes, without that, my eyes look small, and non existant and I feel I look like I'm missing something.

I started to learn the balance between how much makeup (particularly eye makeup) to apply based on if I am taking a lot of pictures or not. I find that if I do a regular amount of eye shadow and a picture is taken, it looks like I am wearing nothing so I tend to go overboard and it looks great in photos.
A great way to start is to increase how much eye makeup you wear but in neutral colors.
