I don't think so. We seeded in the summer when you're not supposed to and it was fine. Give it shot!

The gardeners came by this week to seed so I don't think you are to late to seed. I would do it today.

Our landscaper seeded last week and we already have grass coming up! I would recommend doing it in the next few days and remember -- water, water, water!
