Best pan to bake brownies?

I have such issues. So many times my ends come out hard as a rock. And last time the whole bottom of the brownies came out hard. i used my le creuset pan. What works for you?

I will only bake brownies in Pyrex or (don't laugh) the throwaway aluminum pans you buy at the grocery store... they come out so good in there!!

Best pan to bake brownies?

perfect brownie pan, as seen on tv. each piece has those nice edges, and it cookes pretty evenly. i line the bottom with non-stick foil, just to make clean up easier.

Any pan with Reynolds release foil - works great - and take it out a little earlier than you think it is done!

I always use my calphalon nonstick pan. They never stick and like the pp said, take them out a little early and it never hurts to accidentally let the oil spill over a little as your measuring!Chat Icon

I only use glass pyrex pans - for some reason they cook perfectly in them.

I use a glass Pyrex or an old metal pan my mom gave me. Lining with parchment paper also helps. Add a little extra oil and underbake, too!

Usually use a calphalon non-stick tray.

It sounds like you're overcooking them. Remember that when you take them out of the oven, they continue to bake. As soon as you can, cut the entire cake out of the tray, turn it upside down and leave it on a cooling rack. Once cool, transfer to a cutting board and cut them into pieces.

Me too! Every time I try to use something else I regret it.
