And this is why I switched RE practices
My dr just called me to see how I was feeling- the dr not the nurse!!'m He didn't do the procedure, his associate did- they conferred and he called to tell me how happy and successful it was etc. Said my uterus will need time to heal but it will be even better then ever ;) he wanted to see me in a few weeks to check to see how things are going before we begin another cycle. He said probably January... Maybe feb depending on healing.
I learned a lesson to trust my gut and inner voice. There is no doubt in my mind I made the best decision for us.
Although I was not happy to get on the scale and see that I'm up 20 pounds since last year. I just feel uncomfortable.,.. And can't even blame the stupid IVF meds right now.

And this is why I switched RE practices
I'm glad you like your RE. That is so important. I totally feel you on the weight gain. I am up at least 10 pounds. During IVF probably about 15. I had to just deal with it and go up a size in clothes. I have been doing medicated cycles since February with only 2 cycles with no meds so my body just can't adjust. At this point we will just have more weight to loose after we have a child (fingers crossed) so I'll totally deal with that.

That's so awesome to hear!!! I love when doctors go that extra mile.
It's a good feeling that you know you're being taken care of and not just another patient number. Love this dr and this practice so far. They are so efficient and thorough.

I'm with ya. Back to back medicated cycles since summer. Off meds since cot but still have the weight. Telling myself it'll all be worth it in the end. :)

I'm not worried just uncomfortable. My clothes don't fit so I had to go up a size. Thank god it's winter!!!

What hospital did they do the lap in?
My dr in RMA is based in white plains- he didn't do the surgery his associate did and he is also based out of white plains. Great hospital! They took such good care of us. We had a delay bc of an emergency. Gave my SO coupon for free parking and for a free meal in cafeteria. Also called me yesterday to see how I was.
I'm so anxious to get this IVF going but dr said I need time to heal and the uterus tissue to grow back- so wait it is.

My dr at RMA often called me personally as well. That's what I really liked...I felt like he cared about me and my outcome. I plan on going back to RMA for #2, too.
