I use one i bought a t sur la table by Le Cruset--we have a gas stove--it works great

If its a cast iron one then you can only use the coated type like Le Creuset. I have an electric stove and that's what I use.

Everytime I try and use one my whole house smokes out and the smoke alarm goes off! lol What's the trick?
