How do you store cookies to keep fresh?
I feel like every time I put them in a ziploc container/tupperware, they get weirdly soft (not in a good way). How do you store your cookies after baking?

Stay away from plastic of any kind!
We use either tins or gift boxes lined with tin foil.

I think they keep better in tins - I do tins lined with parchment or wax paper and wax paper between each layer of cookies.
Also keep each kind of cookie separate.

On the tins- make sure the lids are TIGHT and try to fill them as much as possible. And, as the other poster mentioned, don't mix types if you don't absolutely have to. A softer cookie packed with harder ones will make them ALL soft. Good luck!

I use tins, with layers of wax paper in between, and one layer of wax paper on top.

I never had any issue with storing in glad/ziplock plastic containers. But I only store the same types in each. They've been in them a week & taste fresh.

Tins and put a piece of bread in there. We usually use the end piece since no one eats in anyway.
