new years menu

We are hosting 3 couples (so 8 ppl total) for NYE. I am making cocktail party food. Two people are vegetarians so I am making almost everything veg friendly... does this menu seem ok?

Veggies and hummus
grape leaves
peppadew peppers
cheeses (crackers, baguette, etc)
olives
gougeres
cheddar olives (basically green olives wrapped n cheddar dough and baked)
marinated mini mozz balls
dried apricots stuffed with stilton and baked
fennel parm dip with garlic crostini
red pepper feta dip with pita chips
stuffed mushrooms

for the non veg things - smoked salmon on endive with lemon dill creme, and baked salmon cakes with avocado-cilantro dip

not sure about dessert yet - fruit of some sort, "crack" (saltines covered in caramel and chocolate), mini mexican chocolate crackle cookies, and either mini apple tarlets or phyllo shells filled with lemon mascarpone cream and topped with blueberry jam.

Can I come ;) it sounds great. The only change I'd consider is adding a big salad.

Haha I even have a backup of my favorite snack, ritz crackers with mascarpone and red pepper jelly, in case we run low on food (which i doubt will happen!). i want to do finger foods so no salad, but the veg platter with have peppers, carrots, celery, cucumbers, and grape tomatoes, so it's salad-esque.

Re: new years menu

I think it sounds great but considering 4 people eat meat, I would definitely have something non vegetarian for a variation. JMO anyway

I would add some appitizers with meat. I would something like cocktail meatballs or mini empanadas.

Duh, I probably should have said... we keep kosher, so we wouldn't have meat stuff with cheesy stuff.
