Talk to me about Bob O Pedic
Anyone have one?
My teen needs a new full size bed and wants to look at Tempur Pedic. But, I feel like I've read good things about the Bob's brand here. Would love any input.

We've had a queen size firm Bob-o-pedic for about 5 years now. I have zero complaints. It's much more comfortable than any spring mattress I've been on. It does retain heat, but I think that's a good thing. Warmer in the winter, and we have AC to deal with the summer heat. I like that DW and I can get up out of bed without waking up the other person. Movement doesn't travel to the other parts of the bed.

We've had one for about 7 months and so far so good. It retains heat as GR said which is probably the only thing I don't like about it b/c I refer to DH as a human heater. I used to wake up every time DH switched sides but not anymore. i don't feel him at all. Nor does he feel me when I have to get up multiple times a night to use the potty!

We have a queen size in our room and a pull out couch will a full size.
I will never go back to sleeping on a spring mattress

I bought one recently after hearing such rave reviews on here.
I too will never ever go back to a spring mattress.
Or their more costlier competitor.

We've had one 3 years & it is very confortable and affordable. only complaint is the mattress pad & fitted sheet slide off on 1 side so I'm fixing it every day. Not sure if it's the mattress causing the issue or if it's my husband..

That's funny b/c as I was changing the sheets yesterday, I commented that the sheets and pad never slide off like my old mattress.

We have had the king since July and no complaints. It is very comfortable. We got the one with the cooling gel in it but I still notice that it retains heat as I sometimes wake up sweating. Other than that, absolutely no complaints!

we had a king sized one for a few weeks & hated it.
not sure if it was the mattress protector or the temp of our room (cold), but it felt like we were sleeping on the beach in firm sand. we returned it.

What is the difference between all of the bob o pedics? Looks like they have gel, low profile, standard, split??

It may depend on the type of sheets, and type of sleep you are getting. Sometimes if DH or I have a restless sleep the sheet will come off.
Happened last night because we were both tossing and turning.

We own both. Our son has the bob o. I would never buy the bob o for myself after owning and sleeping on the tempur. But since this is for your kid I would say bob o all the way for the price.
