Military type boots
I know this has probably been posted before, how do we feel about those military type boots people, mostly younger girls, are wearing now? I've been eyeing the Steve Madden Troopa for a while now but didn't think I could pull it off. I saw a girl more my age (34) with a pair on at the store earlier and they look so cute! I don't know how to post pics from my ipad on here.

Military type boots
I bought two pairs, brown and black, I wore each pair once because I just felt like they didn't look right. I wish I hadn't spent so much money on them. At least once a week I attempt to wear them but I end up second guessing how they look and take them off. I did get a bunch of compliments on the Brown pair, but that was from family so I'm not sure if I believe them. Every time I see someone wearing them I love them though. I do this with everything out of my comfort zone, second guess myself lol. I tried them with skinny jeans and leggings. I'm 32 and I don't see a problem with wearing them at any age, if that's what's holding you back. I'm determined to wear mine more sometime this winter!

Military type boots
I bought a cheap pair about 4 months ago and haven't worn them yet. I love the look but just feel like I can't pull them off. I'm 32. Though for me it's not really about age, just more about whether the person can or can't pull them off, kwim? I'd feel a lot more comfortable wearing mine if i were a super skinny girl. lol

Re: Military type boots
I have a hard time visualizing what you would wear them with.
I too picture a super skinny girl in leggings as pants.

Re: Military type boots
I see them on so many young girls, that's why I wasn't sure if I was too old for them. The girl I saw today looked my age and she had them on with leggings and a cardigan.

Re: Military type boots
I was looking at a blog yesterday and a woman was wearing what looks to be a military style with colorful tights and a dress that stopped just above the knee. They actually went together well.
This woman dresses kind of boho with a little punk thrown in, so I think if that is your look, they may mesh.
Here's her blog:
