Too short for riding type boots??
Ugh. I bought these cute riding boots online and love them but when I put them on, they go so high, they are digging into the back of my knee, almost covering my knee! Not comfortable. This has happened before. I am almost 5'3. Am I just too short for them? I'd love a pair that came lower. ANyone experience this or have any recs? The ones I bought are from Santana.

Too short for riding type boots??
I'm 5'2 and have never had a problem but I guess my legs are long (if that is possible) compared to the rest of my body lol

I'd try to exchange them if you are not happy. Many boots are too expensive to walk around in if they are not exactly what you want.

It's funny because I got an awesome deal on these so it's killing me to return them lol. You are so right though.

Re: Too short for riding type boots??
I actually bought a pair of Uggs yesterday and then ended up returning them because they felt too big. And that store actually didn't have any left in the style/color that I was super crazy about.
I ended up getting a better deal on Ebates this morning in the style/color I preferred!

I'm 5'4" and it may just be that particular pair of boots. I have the Frye Veronica Slouch and they come just above mid-calf nowhere near my knees. I also have the Frye Carmen Boots and when I sit in them, they hit the back of my knees. You may just need a different style.

I am 5' and have 3 pairs. I tend to do well with steve madden but they do have a pair right now that I love but are too tall.

Re: Too short for riding type boots??
I just recently posted a yay or nay about a pair from Aerosoles. I picked them because they are shorter and I too have that issue when I choose certain styles. They are just too high and hit the back of my knees.
