Autism Weekend at Frost Valley YMCA

Has anyone attended this in the past? It looks like a nice weekend, and pretty inexpensive. $119 per person for the entire weekend, person with autism is free.

Back by popular demand! A weekend for families affected by Autism to get-away together and enjoy each others company in a serene spot where everything is taken care. Come enjoy a wide variety of activities with your family. We’ll go on nature sensory hikes, create masterpieces in our Arts & Crafts program, climb our climbing tower, build a debris shelter in the woods, aim for the bulls-eye at our archery range, and meet our resident hawks and owls! The cost for the weekend is $115 per person, and the family member with Autism is FREE. This all-inclusive cost covers meals, lodging in one of our 4-Room Style Lodges, and all great programs. Meet other families, make connections, and bond with nature. See more.

Here is some additional information i received after emailing them. Maybe we can get some families together so we are not with "strangers."Chat Icon (I dont know how i feel about bunkbeds though!Chat Icon

That's correct. The cost is $115 per person, and the family member with Autism is Free. That costs includes all of the programs and meals from a snack on Friday evening through lunch on Sunday. The lodging is also included on one of our 4-Room Lodges.

Here is a link to the lodging layouts so you can see how they are designed.

Here is also a link which has some photos on the bottom so you can see what the lodges look like.

The mealtimes for the weekend are as follows
Saturday: 8-9am Breakfast, 12-1pm Lunch, 5:30-6:30 Dinner
Sunday: 8-9am Breakfast, 12;1pm Lunch
Our dining hall is open untill 11pm on Friday and 10pm on Saturday. You can always get fresh fruit, cereal, milk and coffee/tea/juice/water. So there are snacks available all day, but you are welcome to bring your own.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions. If you are registered, I will be reaching out a couple weeks prior to your trip to make sure that we have all of your concerns addressed.
