Is anyone currently in the district and worried about another year of budget issues and redistricting??? This seriously keeps me up at night.

I am, and no. There is always going to be budget issues. Always talk of closing something. I just deal with it. I am in a FB group for the area, and its like WW3 in there all the time. Peopl are bent because they cut music and kept football. This district is built on sports, it is what it is. Every year there will be another issue. Cant worry about them all. Jmo

I am part of the same group. I was there holding up signs to keep full day kindergarten. It really baffles me that a district would think sports is more important than education. They've proven it time and time again. I know every district has their issues but financially we are in a really BAD place right now...

I don't live in the district but I think sports taking precedence over everything else is common- it is very true in my district. I could go on but I don't want to hijack- but people all over have disjointed priorities.
