Q about resuming treatment with RE
Does anyone know if you take a break from the RE and you want to start back up again, do you have to go in for another consult w/ bloodwork etc.?

Re: Q about resuming treatment with RE
I took a break from my RE from end of June to the beginning of September. I just called the first day of AF to schedule a monoriting appointment on CD3. I honestly don't even think they noticed I wasn't in the office for over 2 months.

Re: Q about resuming treatment with RE
In the past, I've made consultations to meet with my RE after a break just for my own peace of mind. Blood was not taken, it was just a sit down with the dr to discuss my past failed cycles, and what was our next plan. Since I pay OOP, I need to be prepared financially for when I come in on CD 3.

As long as your original work up was less than a year ago you should be fine. I've taken a couple breaks also, longest one was 3 mos. I did not have to repeat anything, just went in for normal CD3 appointment.

As long as all your tests have been run in the last year you should be fine.

Q about resuming treatment with RE
I took a 6 month break, in between for a polyp removal. once I decided to go back I called a month before I wanted to start the co-ordinator just to make sure my coverage was still on and to schedule my cycle. she calc'ed my cycle based on when my next AF due and checked w/ins company that the FET was still covered and then I just came in for CD2 for monitoring
