First round of IUI coming up!
I had my first appointment today with Dr. Kenigsberg at LIIVF and he was fantastic. Thank you to all the ladies on here who recommended either him or the LIIVF practice. DH was there with me and felt very comfortable with him, too. He is clearly very knowledgeable and he took the time to speak with us and answer all our questions. DH and I both had blood drawn, and he then did a sonogram and thinks that I will ovulate on my own this month. He saw a follicle on the right ovary -- I am currently on CD9 -- he wants me to go in on Wednesday AM for monitoring. If all goes well, I'll go in again on either Thursday or Friday with DH for my first IUI. Anything I should expect or be aware of? I've already read through all the information they gave me. I know part of the blood taken today was for genetic testing -- anyone know how quickly the results of this will come? I know that this is only our first try at IUI, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
