Does anyone get their pooch on a treadmill?

Kanga is 5lbs overweight, and we've been lax with taking her to the dog park. I'm trying to get her on my treadmill after I saw Ceasar Milan do it with Denise Richards' pooch. Do you think it's doable?

I have tried - Ebony runs away when I turn it on. He won't go near the thing. And he's 90 lbs so I can't get him on there myself.

I take him to parks where I let him off the leash and he runs on the trails - more excercise than a dog park. You can do this at Belmont Lake State Park on on trail through the woods, and at the Red Dot Trail in East Hills.
