Solar rebates
Are the solar rebates (federal and state) on top of what I would normally get back for my annual taxes? I assumed they would be but after sitting with a company he phrased it in a way that made me think otherwise. Most of our down payment is coming from the rebates and we will be paying a monthly amount to the company. He said something along the lines of as long as your making 50,60,70 and upward you'll be fine and I see you have some tax write offs (my kids were running around) I'm not sure who to ask about this but I dont want my entire tax check being signed to them just the extra I would be getting from the rebates!

Re: Solar rebates
The Fed and State rebates in your taxes are completely separate from anything else you have going on tax-wise. It's not a refund, but a rebate, so you get the solar rebates no matter what refund you get, or even if you owe money. It's listed separately, handled separately, etc.
