Quality Sofa and Loveseat
Can you recommend what brand your quality sofa and loveseat are please? I had an Ethan Allen set years ago that held up great. I will look there first but looking for other alternatives. I'm not sure EA is quite my style anymore.
I'm mostly concerned about sitting too low to the ground. My mom has trouble getting up off the low couches so looking for something firm that will stay up.
In the interim I bought a cheap set from Ashley furniture and it is the worst junk I've every sat on. Before a year was up we were sitting on the floor.
I find with furniture you really do get what you pay for.

We got our sofa and matching chair w/ ottoman from Macy's and so far so good, no issues at all.

My ILs just purchased this set from Raymour and Flanigan and it is very comfortable to sit on and lounge in as well.

They got the sofa and love seat, but in a beige color.

We customized a King Hickory sofa from B&O Furniture in West Hempstead. It was worth every penny, especially after our la-z-boy sofa and loveseat fell apart. It's also a family owned business, and they were very nice to work with.

We have one from Bassett and one from Ethan Allen. The Bassett is holding up much better, but I find the Ethan Allen more comfortable. Too expensive to have not held up though.
